1. Minerva™ Software - Secure Web-based Access 24/7
We have a number of ASP (Application Service Provider) software products in the market that
are used on a daily basis by 100's of companies and 1000's of employees. To ensure Internet
end-user access, IMS has deployed redundancy to ensure our Internet connectivity. By
contracting with both Bell and Telus, IMS now employs Dual T1 communication line feeds for
our Internet web farm, which also features Active Directory and Load balanced web servers.
We also employ a co-location service to ensure 100% uptime.
2. Minerva™ Software - Web-based Online Reports
Taking advantage of the latest Web technology all pertinent information is available to you
instantly and in real time. Minerva is a new kind of software that is both an information
delivery system and a data-mining tool that is so simple to use there is no manual required
to guide you.

Drill Through to Detail
Since your Minerva™ database is built from the base transaction up, all of the detail
information is obtainable. From any summary report, the "hyperlinked" values allow you to
view the associated detail that makes up that value. Once into the second-level summary
data, you can again click on a "hyperlinked" value of interest and continue to "Drill-Down"
until you hit the base transaction, which is an individual donation.

"Point and Click" Report Sorting
Similar to the Drill Through to Data summary, all the reports in Minerva™ are built from the
summation of the individual transactions. This means, that any of the Reports that are
presented can be sorted in an Ascending or Descending order based on an Alpha Character or
a Numeric Value. This allows you to create multiple versions of the same report such as
Donations to Campaign X - By Donor and Donations to Campaign X - By Donation Value. This
therefore doubles the amount of Reporting that Minerva™ is capable of providing.

Remote access for Telemarketers
With the increased use of Outbound Telemarketing to your Active Donor base, IMS has created a
module that allows for either your Internal or External Telemarketing supplier to access
your donation database directly so that they can have the same level of Donor Knowledge
as you. This is done through a specific User ID and Password that IMS would supply to
the Telemarketer so that only those records that have been identified as requiring a call would
be contacted.
4. Minerva™ Software - Real-Time Donor Management (S.A.F.E.)
What better way to manage your Donor Database than using a SAFE method?
SAFE is our acronym for Search, Add, Flag and Edit. There is nothing else
that can happen to your donors than requiring one of these 4 steps.

Search:
All the name data in your Minerva™ database is Searchable. Be it by Last Name,
First Name or Initial, Address, City or any combination of these. Minerva™
has a powerful built in search capability that allows it to quickly scan the database
and narrow down the results to just a couple so that you can visually select the
correct one. Often times, this allows you to identify a former best donor that has
moved and not given you their change of address. When this happens, IMS is there
to re-link all their previous donation history and elevate them back to their
previous Donation matrix.

Add:
No matter how hard we work our existing donors, we eventually will need to "Add" new
ones. We have created the ability to "Add" a new donor at anytime. However, we do
check the entire database before adding the record to ensure that you are not
inadvertently adding a duplicate record. Using a proprietary algorithm, we check
to ensure that the same or similar name is not already there, it is amazing how often
our best donors are lost because of a change of address. At IMS, we know their
value, which is why we ensure that any new record is truly a new
record.

Flag:
As your relationship with a Donor evolves, there are many opportunities for that Donor
to say, "Hey, I don't want any more phone calls" and when that happens, you need to
quickly respond to that request. With the pending Privacy Legislation, this will
be a legal requirement on your part, so IMS has created a Flagging system that allows
you to Flag your Donors with Communication Flags.
Some of the flags that we have created include:
- Do Not Trade
- Do Not Mail
- Do Not Call
- Do Not Email
- Deceased
Still others can be created. Please discuss this when you are implementing your
Minerva™ Solution, IMS is ready and prepared to address any unique issues
that you may face.

Edit:
No matter how clean and accurate your database is when you create it, it will become obsolete
the very next day. You will have Donors move - some will tell you and others will not.
Some will die and others may just stop giving. In each case, you need to modify your data.
To do this, you need to have Edit functions. IMS again has anticipated these requirements
and has created an Edit Screen function that allows you to edit all parts of the
name and address as well as to edit the Flags that have been set-up for that Donor.
Elements of the record that are not Editable are any assigned ID numbers, the transaction
history and other elements that are transaction related such as date responded and donation amount.
5. Minerva™ Software - One-Click "Hot List" Builder
When you are perusing your database and creating reports and looking at campaign history, you will
inevitably stumble across a Donor that you must absolutely follow-up on. Maybe it is a one-time
gift that is out of the ordinary, maybe it is multiple gifts in a short period or maybe it is
someone that is new to the file. What ever your reason, you need an ability to FLAG that record
for follow-up.
This is where IMS was thinking again, we have created a "Hot List" button that can be activated
against any donor for any reason. Once the "Hot List" is clicked, that record is marked with
a Lit Match symbol.
You can then access the Hot List itself and begin to follow-up with any of these people. How cool
is that.
6. Minerva™ Software - Add, Manage and Report on Campaigns
Imagine the power in being able to determine, at any given time, the status of ALL of your 26
campaigns that are currently in market.
Imagine the power in early detection of the winning creative test before all the results are in.
Imagine the ability to know when to change the creative or offer while you are still rolling
out the campaign.
Well, Minerva™ comes with the built-in ability to add and edit information on Campaigns
such as launch dates, list sources, type of components, cost per component, costs for
lettershop, laser and data work, postage costs, total cost per mailing piece and fulfillment
costs. Once these input values are created for any given Campaign (mail or telemarketing)
then you can calculate the ROI for each Campaign based on the actual Transaction information
that is captured and data entered into Minerva™.
